“At The Little Gym, we believe that movement, play, and community belong to

everyone,” said the owners of The Little Gym of McKinney. “World Down Syndrome Day

gives us the opportunity to celebrate the joy, strengths, and individuality of children with

Down syndrome while creating a space where families feel supported and welcomed.”

Event Details:

Date: Sunday, March 22

Class Times:

 2:00–2:45 p.m. | 4 – 35 Months

 3:00–3:50 p.m.| 3 – 6 Years of age

Each class will feature The Little Gym’s signature blend of movement, music, and

skillbuilding activities—adapted to ensure accessibility, comfort, and fun for children of

all abilities. Families will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from GiGi’s

Playhouse and learn more about local programs and resources at The Little Gym on

The Little Gym of McKinney has long championed inclusion, offering a nurturing

environment where children can grow at their own pace and families can feel

connected.

“We’re grateful for the chance to partner with GiGi’s Playhouse and to celebrate a day

that highlights acceptance, belonging, and the beauty of every child,” the team added.

“This event is about joy, community, and honoring the incredible families we serve.”

At The Little Gym of McKinney, every program is rooted in our ThreeDimensional

Learning approach—Get Moving, Brain Boost, and Citizen Kid. This framework

ensures each child grows not only physically, but also cognitively and socially. From

building strength and coordination to encouraging problemsolving, teamwork, and

confidence, our curriculum is designed to support the whole child. Events like our World

Down Syndrome Day celebration reflect this mission in action, creating spaces where

every child can learn, grow, and shine at their own pace.
