Activities: Pumpkin shopping, fall backdrops, occasional family events.
Tips: Perfect after-school stop; pair with a nearby park for extra playtime.
Hall's Pumpkin Farm (Grapevine)
Drive time: ~29 min southeast
2025 season: October 3rd -
Highlights: Corn maze, hayrides, and a huge assortment of pumpkins.
Tips: Cash Only. Plan to have dinner at any of the nearby themed restaurants. We recommend Rainforest Cafe!
Team Family Farms (Aubrey)
Drive time: ~25–30 min northwest
2025 season: September 27th - November 2nd
Activities: Hayrides, animals, pumpkins, small maze.
Tips: Dirt/grass paths—wear sturdy shoes. Check for weekday pricing.

Big Orange Pumpkin Farm at Preston Trail Farms (Gunter)
Drive time: ~25–30 min north
2025 season: September 14th - November 27th
Highlights: Classic farm day with hayrides, animals, and on-site café/snacks.
Tips: Morning visits = better light and cooler temps. Sunscreen even in October.
Shades of Green Nursery Pumpkin Patch (Frisco)
2025 season: Last week pf September - October 31st
Highlights: Idyllic location along a bubbling stream, with centuries-old cottonwood trees and a barn on seven beautiful acres. Great for family photos. Lots of different kinds of gourds to choose from.
The Dallas Arboretum “Pumpkin Village” (Dallas)
Drive time: ~30 min south (traffic dependent)
Highlights: Spectacular pumpkin displays and themed installations—more “display” than “patch.” Pumpkins for sale. A North Texas "must do".
Tips: Timed entry on peak weekends. Great for photos and grandparents’ day out.
